This advanced course is designed for professionals with experience in working with optical fibers. Participants will deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in optical fiber splicing and related technologies.

Course content:

Theory: optical transmission principles, reflection and refraction, fiber structure and types, connectors, cables, joint boxes, terminal boxes, and color coding.

Practice: optical fiber splicing, cable preparation, and performing splices in joint and terminal boxes.

Certificates awarded:

1. ANC-accredited diploma in the occupation of Optical Fiber Splicer (Jonctor Fibră Optică), including a detailed list of competencies from the occupational standard.

2. Diploma issued after passing the final evaluation exam.
